- ALWAYS REGISTER WITH THE FIRST NAME of your CHARACTER AS YOUR USERNAME. THIS WILL BE THE NAME THAT YOU WILL LOGIN TO YOUR CHARACTER.
- Use complete literate sentences. NO RP POST SHOULD BE SHORTER THAN 5 SENTENCES!
- Write in ENGLISH. We need to be able to understand you.
- Check your spelling. (I'm quite bad with this one, but try pasting your rp into a program with spell check and fixing your post that way.)
- Refrain from using smiles and Internet lingo as much as you can. (A frequent lol or a smile won't kill anyone) (Do not use them in your RP'S!)
- As for character "DATING" goes, Baraves girls are not allowed to date any guys or girls in other houses. Baraves guys are not allowed to date anyone other than Baraves girls. They can "fool around" or flirt with any other girls/guys though. This rule is in effect to keep to realism, as no person w/ Baraves qualities would want to date outside their house.
- NO CHARACTER is allowed to have a child or be pregnant. Or you will get expelled.
- STUDENTS CAN'T BE AN ANIMAGUS.
- There are no pets allowed into the school, but owls, cats, toads and rats.
- PLEASE NO BANNERS IN YOUR SIGNATURES!
- If you wish to be a veela, vampires, werewolves, legilimens, occulmens, metamorphamig, telepaths, mind readers, or any other things PM ME, and I will take your request into consideration.
1. No more then four characters per person for the time being. A lot of people aren't even active with some of their characters, if you would like to ask me about this, please PM me. We do make exceptions to the rule, if you need another for a plotline or really think you can handle more then three.
2. Banners must be no more then 200 pixels, vertically.
This may possibly be amended.
3. You should have at least five, well-written sentences when making a post. That's about 75 or so words; really not a big deal. You may post longer posts, of course..
4. Drama is fine, as long as it is kept at a PG-13 level. What we mean is, please don't have your character's mother die, her boyfriend break-up with her, find out she's pregnant, try to kill her brother, and jump off the clock tower ALL IN ONE DAY. It's fine to have an ongoing plotline, just don't make it too over the top.
5. When applying as part of a Quidditch team or a Prefect, you must have shown consistent effort on all of your posts.
6. You must be fairly active. We understand that you can't always make it on or don't always have time or are just not in the mood to roleplay. But if you have an inactive character that has showed a significant lack of rping for some time, then doesn't show up for more then one month, they will be deleted. If we made a mistake by deleting someone, don't worry, you can rejoin and we'll sort you into your old position.
